Hey there, I'm Emilie.

I'm a Wisconsin based photographer who lives on coffee and charcuterie boards. Whether searching for a photographer brought you here or just perusing, welcome to it!

For me, it's about you. It's about moments in time, phases of life, ages that we can't get back and capturing those moments so we can hold them tightly as time passes. The creation of images that will be on your walls, your Christmas cards, your phone cases and the like is what keeps me here. The love from our audience about how beautiful your family is or what beautiful pictures we created together-that's what keeps me here, too.
 

I've always been committed to photography. An emotional bond with photos, if you will. Circa early 2000's, I was the friend who wanted everyone to come with me and get their photos taken at Walmart for the $10 deal. Of course, those photos are printed and hidden in boxes in storage. Fast forward to 2008, tax time, a girl with a dream and boom... Emilie Marie Photography was born.

As for me, you can typically find me crafting up a charcuterie board for dinner, dreaming up new business ideas, living the lake life in the summer or spending time with our bougie dogs and nearly adult children. Oh, and one more... let's not forget the supper clubbing. I like to call everything an adventure. An 8pm run to Target? Let's go on an adventure. A potential opportunity to see the Northern lights one evening? Let's go on an adventure. A simple drive or a plane ride, I'm down. I appreciate tradition and thrive in uniqueness. It's like my name. It's Emilie...like Emily. Couldn't find a personalized pencil in the 90's to save my life. I'm an ENTJ according to the Meyer's briggs, Enneagram #7 and an Aquarius. I'm easy going and while I find importance to things, my super power is staying even keeled in even the most stressful situations.
